Technology leading the way
At Kirk Roberts Consulting we find better ways. This means we invest in modern technology such as our new XRF analyser.
The XRF is a hand-held portable piece of equipment that can be used on location for immediate analysis of heavy metal contamination, allowing real-time assessment of soil quality. It allows for quick clearance of suspected hotspots during preliminary site investigation.
XRF readings can also be integrated into Earthwork Models (Civil 3D, 12D. etc.) producing a full three-dimensional assessment of soil conditions across the site. The 3D models provide increased accuracy, rapid results, and allows for more cost-effective earthworks and remediation.
Our Christchurch environmental engineers were ecstatic to train with the XRF analyser. “It’s great!” says senior environmental geologist James Jackson. “We see particular benefit of this piece of kit in active construction and remediation projects, where real-time assessment of contamination can save clients time & money.”
We can test a wider range of samples, with greater scope of depth and faster results, all within the same budget. We provide our clients with greater information, security, and cost efficiency in their environmental site investigations. To put it simply – we found a better way for our team and our clients.
