Building Information Modelling
3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) process is the way of the future. It’s a fundamental extension of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and is the next generation of design and project delivery.
While cost is always considered very carefully in any project, the value of effective BIM management is expressed by the overall efficiency of your project delivery.
Our BIM specialists work alongside you throughout your project. An intelligent 3D design model helps you visualise your project and, by providing greater project insight earlier in the design and construction process, supports you to make more informed decisions. We can even help you understand how your building will best be managed once it is completed.
Excellence in BIM implemented early in a project avoids on-site construction issues arising from poor coordination between consultants. Reducing clashes of services and structure also circumvents the need for ongoing redesign, while mitigating programme slippage and cost variation. Further, BIM improves planning, cost forecasting and overall project control.
Collaborative 3D modelling makes it easier for teams to collaborate and communicate. Construction phasing is enhanced by contractors gaining clear insight into the building construction process.
