Kirk Roberts expands specialist engineering expertise

Kirk Roberts is pleased to welcome the team from Finesse Consulting Engineers as part of a strategic capability transition.

The transition brings together complementary expertise and adds further depth to Kirk Roberts’ structural engineering, technical leadership and specialist advisory capability. It also expands the business’s expertise in forensic structural assessment and expert witness services.

Founded by Chartered Structural Engineer Simon Finn in 2017, Finesse has developed a strong reputation for technical expertise, practical advice and trusted client relationships. The team brings extensive experience advising on complex claims involving earthquake damage, structural design issues, construction failures and building compliance matters.

For existing Finesse clients, it will be very much business as usual. Clients will continue working with the people they know and trust, with the added support of Kirk Roberts’ wider multidisciplinary expertise, national reach and resources.

The transition reflects a shared commitment to technical excellence, practical advice and strong client relationships. Bringing the teams together adds further technical depth and capacity to Kirk Roberts, supports the continued growth of the business and creates new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
