The Railyard Retail Recognition - 2025 Property Industry Awards

We’re honoured to be recognised for our work on The Railyard, a standout retail development in Christchurch’s thriving Hornby precinct, which has been named a finalist in the 2025 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards, in the Yardi Retail category.

This national recognition celebrates excellence and innovation across the property sector, and The Railyard’s selection is a testament to the collaborative effort behind this ambitious project.

Developed on a 9,871m² site, The Railyard represents a landmark in modern retail design. It seamlessly integrates architectural expertise with civil, environmental, geotechnical, fire, and structural engineering, delivering an efficient, resilient, and high-quality space tailored for retailers and the Hornby community.

The winners will be revealed at the highly anticipated Awards Dinner in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on Friday, 13 June. This premier industry event brings together more than 1,500 property professionals to celebrate the country’s most outstanding projects. This recognition highlights the power of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence – and we’re proud to see The Railyard acknowledged as one of New Zealand’s top property developments.
