Bold and Exceptional Bowentown Residence

Relocating to the stunning Bay of Plenty, these clients had specific requirements for this new family residence which included a spacious, multifunctional home with elevated floor levels.

The architects designed a two-level dwelling set among the Bowentown sand dunes utilising Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) technology which delivers exceptional structural robustness, thermal efficiency and longevity. They also extended the height from ground to first floor to optimise vistas over the dunes and the expansive ocean.

Our Kirk Roberts consultants provided geotechnical, civil and structural engineering expertise.

This stunning project was recognised at the House of the Year – Bay of Plenty & Central Plateau Competition 2024
