Celebrating Silver & Gold at the 2024 Commercial Project Awards
The New Zealand Commercial Project Awards, proudly hosted by the Registered Master Builder Association, celebrate the innovation and contributions of entire project teams, focusing on the people rather than just the buildings.
On Friday, 25 May, the 2024 NZ Commercial Project Awards black-tie Gala was held in Auckland, showcasing the finest achievements in our industry. With awards recognising developments of all sizes and types, this prestigious programme sets the benchmark for commercial construction in New Zealand.
Kirk Roberts was honoured to have two exceptional projects recognised in their respective categories this year.
Gold Award: Bader Ventura Passive House, Auckland
In the residential section, Bader Ventura Passive House received a Gold Award. This Kainga Ora development, comprising 18 units, is the first government-funded passive house development of its size and the first Homestar v5 certified build. The project was a collaboration between several partners:
• 2PIR Consulting (Engineer)
• Oculus Architectural Engineering (Engineer)
• Peddlethorp (Architect/Designer)
• Precision Construction (Construction Company)
• Kirk Roberts Consulting (Geotechnical and Structural Engineering)
The success of Bader Ventura lies in its environmental achievements and the team’s ability to provide comfortable, affordable, and high-quality housing.
