We require a competent and motivated Structural Manager/Team Leader for our Auckland Office. The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of the Structural team, to track and monitor workload and ensure the ongoing development of team members. The position may have 6 to 12 direct reports including staff capable of leading projects. The candidate should enjoy mentoring and guiding staff, providing solutions to complex problems and reviewing high level technical designs.
You will be CPEng qualified with sound New Zealand experience in the successful delivery of building structure projects requiring a high level of technical expertise. You enjoy technical challenge and leadership and have the drive and interpersonal skills to provide guidance to the team to continuously improve client project delivery outcomes. You will be excellent at planning, organising and managing your time, be resilient in the face of pressure, and have a natural style that promotes building relationships with your colleagues and clients. You will be a role model in the team for promoting high work standards and will have skills and enthusiasm for business development.
